Day 01 Arrive Delhi

On arrival meet & greet at the Airport and transfer to hotel.

DELHI: one of India's fastest growing cities has spread far beyond the "seven cities" created between the 13th and the 17th centuries. It has sprawled over the west bank of the Yamuna and now straddles the river. Remnants of the past survive cheek -by-jowl with skyscrapers, residential colonies and bustling commercial complexes. Delhi has some of the finest museums in the country. Its boutiques and shopping arcades offer access to a wealth of traditional and contemporary crafts from all over the country. It has speciality restaurants to please the gourmet, open parks and gardens ablaze with flowers, and in the winter months particularly, a variety of cultural events. Its many-layered existence is tantalizing and can entice the curious traveler into a fascinating journey of discovery

Day 02 In Delhi

Morning sightseeing of Old Delhi takes you to Jama Masjid, - The largest mosque in India. Visit the magnificent Red Fort, - a marvel in red sandstone, built on the banks of River Yamuna by
the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Drive past Chandni Chowk, once an imperial avenue of Mughal Royalty which today is the busiest commercial area of the city.

Later sightseeing of New Delhi. Visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years. Visit the mausoleum of emperor Humayun - a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture. Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of
laid down by the Indian soldiers), the president's residence - formerly the Viceroy's Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, - an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture.

Day 03 Delhi – Srinagar (Flight)

In time pick up from hotel to connect flight for Srinagar. On arrival meet & greet at the Airport and transfer to Houseboat.

SRINAGAR : The northern most state of the Indian mainland is rightly called "Paradise on Earth". The sparkling rivers, placid lakes, gorgeous gardens and indescribable beauty of nature in the state of Jammu and Kashmir leave you completely speechless. Home to the unparalleled virgin landscapes of Kashmir. Srinagar, a romantic Kashmiri city situated around glistening lakes and snowy tree forested mountain slopes, is a lively, vibrant, and organic canal city, with one on the most pleasant climates in all of India.

Afternoon sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on
the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration.

Dinner overnight in houseboat / hotel.

Day 04 Srinagar –Sonmarg-Srinagar

Morning full day excursion to the picturesque 'meadow of gold', Sonamarg. The fast flowing Sindh river makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer.

Lunch at Sonmarg.

Dinner overnight in houseboat/ hotel.

Day 05 Srinagar – Gulmarg (60 kms 2 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level.

GULMARG : The prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Originally called ‘Gaurimarg’ by shepherds, its present name was given in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was inspired by the sight of its grassy slopes emblazoned with wild flowers. Gulmarg was a favourite haunt of Emperor Jehangir who once collected 21 different varieties of flowers from here. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating.

Day 06 Gulmarg – Pahalgam (145 kms 3 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds).

PAHALGAM : Located on the banks of river Lidder at an altitude of 7200 ft. from sea level. Pahalgam is one among the five tehsils of Anantnag district and tehsil head quarters are located in the main town of Pahalgam. Once a great tourist puller and favourite place for shooting of Bollywood films is perhaps the best health resort in the country. The Pahalgam Valley presents glamorous look due to its pine forests, snow clad mountains, healthy climate and vast meadows and pastures.

Enroute visit Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields.

Arrive Pahalgam transfer to Hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Pahalgam - Srinagar (97 kms 4 hrs)

Drive back to Srinagar from Pahalgam and transfer to Houseboat/ Hotel.

Overnight in houseboat/hotel.

Day 08 : Srinagar – Delhi

After breakfast transfer to Airport catch flight for Delhi. On arrival assistance at airport to connect flight for onward destination.
